Our Sealing

Jay and I have been married for almost five years and we just got Sealed with our two beautiful girls in the Salt Lake Temple.
I never thought that this would be my life, that I would have so much faith in our Heavenly Father or that being sealed to my family would be so important to me, but it is. I'm so thankful for my husband and my girls if it wasn't for them I would still be lost.
Getting Sealed to my family was so amazing, it gives me peace to know that no matter what we'll be together forever.
My family

Us with my grandparents.

Us with some of my family.

Oh Henry bars

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
rice krispies cereal

Brazilian Pancakes

I asked my husband what he wanted to eat on fathers day, and he said Brazilian pancakes, so here I am thinking of delicious pancakes  that are super fluffy with maple syrup on them... NO I was completely wrong!  Brazilian pancakes are like a crepe or tortilla filled with meat and served with rice and beans. I was a little weirded out by this recipe and Im still not so sure about it but Jay LOVED them so I guess thats all that matters.

Brazilian Pancakes
Meat Mixture
1lb. Hamburger
1 large tomato(chopped)
1 large onion(chopped)
1 tbs. oil
1 tbs. oregano
1c. tomato sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
Put the oil in a pan and heat it up add the hamburger, tomato, and onion and brown, when your meat is about half way cooked add the tomato sauce and oregano and the bouillon cube, finish cooking.

 Pancake Mixture
3 cups flour (I only used 2 1/2 cups)
2 cups milk
2 eggs
4 tbs oil
salt to taste
Mix all together add extra milk if needed. Use a non-stick pan and put just enough to cover the bottom of the pan, don't make it to thick. Flip once they cook pretty fast. Once done put some meat mixture in and roll it up! Some people put tomato sauce on top we didn't. Serve with rice and beans.

Wingers copycat sticky fingers

I love Wingers sticky fingers so when I seen this  recipe on Pinterest I knew I had to try it out, and Im glad I did. I think they are just like Wingers super yummy! And they are super easy like a lot of the things that I make :)

Wingers sticky fingers
1 pkg. frozen breaded chicken strips (We use Tyson brand)
6 Tbl. Frank's Hot Sauce (It has to be Franks Hot Sauce, no other sauce will taste as good)
4 Tbl. water
1 1/2 c. brown sugar

Chicken:
Prepare the chicken strips as directed on the back of the package.

Sauce:
Heat hot sauce, water and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, until sugar is dissolved.

Pour sauce over chicken, and enjoy!  Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.

I doubled the sauce because I love it so much I wanted leftovers
put as much sauce as you want.
I ate mine on my salad super yummy!!

Blackhead remover

I saw this wonderful idea on Pinterest and decided to try it because let's face it we all get blackheads. I loved this, it is super easy and I know it doesn't have a ton of ingredients it just has 2. It worked very well my blackheads are smaller my pores are looking smaller and my skin is so soft! So here is how you do it.

Blackhead remover.

half of a lemon
4-5 drops of honey
Put the honey on the lemon and gently rub on your face, focus on the spots where your blackheads are the worst. Let the honey sit on your skin for 5 minutes or more rinse off with lukewarm water.

Copycat Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken

I seen this recipe on Pinterest and thought it look really yummy and it was! They say it is a copycat recipe of Outback Steakhouse's Alice Springs Chicken I have never had it so I cant compare the two (I have only been to Outback twice in my 24 years, I know sad). I did change it a bit from the recipe I found but it turned out really good.
Chicken with just the seasoning.
The yummy sauce!
All ready for the oven.
All done
Enjoy!!!

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness Lowry's Seasoning Salt
6 bacon slices
1/4 cup regular mustard
1/3 cup honey
2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes(I didnt use them because I didnt have any)
1 cup sliced fresh mushroom (I omitted because my family does not like mushrooms)
2 cup shredded Colby/Jack cheese(I just used cheddar cheese)

First, Sprinkle and rub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt.  Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
While the chicken is in the refrigerator, cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp.  Remove bacon and set aside.  ***Do not discard grease.***
Saute chicken in the bacon grease for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until browned.  Place chicken in a 9" × 13" casserole dish or pan.
To make the Honey Mustard:  In a small bowl, mix the mustard, honey, mayonnaise and dried onion flakes.
Spread some of the Honey Mustard over each piece of chicken, then layer with mushrooms, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese.
Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and chicken is done.
Serve with the left over Honey Mustard Sauce that you made.
